A Unified Platform for Sustainable Creative Art: Inspiration from Nature
The Sustainable Creative Art: Inspiration from Nature (SCIN) initiative is a leading international platform operating at the convergence of art, design, sustainability, and emerging creative domains, including heritage and cultural memory, the role of digital and intelligent technologies in design, innovations in circular and sustainable fashion, and material and textile experimentation. SCIN is committed to advancing rigorous scholarly research, fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration, and facilitating professional dialogue that examines how environmental awareness can be integrated into creative endeavors. By bringing together artists, designers, architects, researchers, and industry professionals from across the globe, SCIN nurtures a comprehensive understanding of sustainable creativity and its cultural and societal dimensions.Although still growing, SCIN has already established itself as a significant catalyst for global impact through its milestone editions:
- SCIN 2025: Hosted at the Museum of the Future, Dubai, in collaboration with Istituto Marangoni Dubai, the first edition explored the role of nature in driving creativity and sustainability.
- SCIN 2026: Set to take place in Milan, Italy, in collaboration with Istituto Marangoni Milan, with the grand opening at the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci on November 10, 2026. This edition introduces an expanded program, bringing together international participants through hybrid engagement formats.
SCIN is more than a conference series; it is a sustained platform where art, design, and sustainability converge. By connecting disciplines, nations, and generations, SCIN is shaping the global discourse on creative practices that are responsible, innovative, and future-ready.
